As a renowned fitness model, I am expected to be in shape year round. But at one point in my life, I woke up and didn’t recognize my new life. I was a newlywed. I had a baby. My body was engulfed by a whirlwind of emotions and crazy hormones. I was sleep deprived from the baby. I had major life stressors; a demanding, high-stress, high-profile position in corporate America, a move to new state, and the sudden loss of my father. I had no nanny and no housekeeper. I was the do-it-all woman, but could no longer figure out how to love myself enough to take care of me.
Always being a whole food proponent, all I knew was that I needed good, solid, balanced nutrition in the form of 5-6 small meals a day. Whaaaaaat? I barely had time to shower and brush my teeth, how was I going to manage prepping, chopping, cooking, and packing all my meals?
I was on my edge of coming unraveled. All of these expectations are placed on new moms and it becomes a total debacle trying to sort everything out. I needed an answer and fast! I had no personal chef or personal trainer and no one to prep my food for me, yet as a fitness enthusiast and professional I needed to get my body back. I was not going to allow this change in life to promote the propensity to go without. Fortunately, I was introduced to a superfood system (that I would be happy to share with you) and my nutrition has since been leaps and bounds better.
As a busy mom and entrepreneur running several businesses, I am all about convenience and simplifying life. After years of trying to get things right, I feel like I have finally gotten a true grip on my nutrition and I don’t ever deprive myself. I feel like anyone can manage the way that I eat and therefore I have created a simple, easy to follow plan for you. I even give some awesome tips about what to look for in the grocery store and how to make it fun and family friendly! Grab a copy of my FREE meal guide here!
